Pastor Ernest J. Walker was appointed as the interim Pastor of Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in January of 2014 and was installed as Pastor on March 28, 2015, along with his wife, Sister Shlon Walker, serving as Lady Shlon Walker and their children. He has been pastoring the church for 10 years to date and continues to carry the ministry and the church forward. Pastor and Lady Shlon Walker has two wonderful children and 4 beautiful grandchildren.
Since Pastor Walker is a forward thinker, he has a vision and goal of expanding the footprint of the ministry. As such, he has continued the ministry in Albion, NY, Orleans County called Albion/Full Gospel Tabernacle Church, located on Bank Street. the former Pastors of this ministry were Elders Robert and Cynthia Carter. Upon the Carter's retirement, once again the need arose to find another Pastor to take on the leadership of the Albion Church Ministry. Through ensuing conversations and meetings between Pastor Walker and elder Kelvin Wynn, the new Pastor was found in the person of Elder Wynn.
It can be ascertained that Pastor Ernest J. Walker's vision and mantras for the church are rooted in and reflective of our rich heritage, and they are clearly expressed by him as follows:

Pastor Ernest J. Walker Jr. & Lady Shlon Walker have been faithfully married for 36 years, exemplifying unity and commitment. Their marriage stands as a testament to God's grace, strength, and enduring covenant.
They are the proud parents of two children and have been further blessed with one son-in-law. Their family joy continues to grow as they lovingly serve as grandparents to four cherished grandchildren, whom the deeply adore.
Together, Pastor Walker and Lady Shlon Walker balance ministry and family with devotion, leading by example and inspiring others through their steadfast partnership, unwavering faith, and genuine love for God and His people.
